Logitech presents the prototype of a combined Talk-Gesture-Controller. Research of the Usability-Center has shown that tasks can be executed up to 50% faster than with mouse and keyboard. Hence Logitech stock rised 9%.
Argument: Bigger screens require new controllers instead of the mouse.
Discussion:- Is a Talk-Gesture-Controller the right controller for bigger screens? Or will we first have multi-touch-screens and then gesture-controlled screens?
- Multi-Touch-Controlling on an upright lcd-display seems quite cumbersome to me, because you would need to have your arms in a position that is exhausting. On the other hand, having the screen flat like a table is also uncomfortable for the back. Do you think screens will be something between flat and upright?
